Pre-production Inspection
Pre-production inspection is conducted at the beginning of product production or before production begins. It is the first step in ensuring consistent product quality throughout the entire production process and that it meets your product quality requirements.
Preliminary Inspection Points:
Inspect raw materials and components.
Sampling semi-finished products to identify potential quality issues.
Assess production line quality control management.
Assess production equipment management and capacity.
Assess factory production capacity.
Provide technical advice to the factory to improve product quality and minimize defects.
Assess production plans.
Benefits of Preliminary Inspection:
Identifying existing or potential quality issues before mass production avoids unnecessary losses and delays, ensuring consistency with customer product specifications and production plans.
Mid-term Inspection:
Mid-term inspection is conducted when products are 10%-15% complete. Mid-term inspection reconfirms whether the factory is producing according to the initial production quality requirements and processes, and confirms whether the production schedule meets customer requirements.
Mid-term Inspection Highlights: Sampling evaluation of product safety, performance, design, function, and appearance; Inspection of any defects and deviations from customer specifications and/or given samples; Evaluation of packaging methods and materials; Inspection and evaluation of production line quality management; Assessment of production schedule and prediction of whether delivery dates will meet customer requirements; Provide targeted improvement suggestions to the manufacturer based on inspection findings.
Benefits of Mid-term Inspection:
Applicable to product quality monitoring during mass production, enabling early detection and handling of product quality issues, ensuring that production schedule, production cycle, and product quality meet customer needs.
Final Inspection:
Final inspection, also known as pre-shipment inspection, is conducted when products are completed and packaged, ready for shipment. Sampling is generally performed according to internationally recognized statistical sampling standards (ISO2859/ANSI/ASQCZ1.4/MIL-STD-105E/BS6001/DIN40080/NFX06-022). Final inspection is the most effective way to confirm the overall quality level of the batch. Final Inspection Points
Verify orders, samples, and customer technical documents, including product quantity, accessories, labels, and markings.
Conduct random checks on product safety performance, design, function, appearance, and usage.
Inspect product technical specifications according to technical standards or requirements.
Evaluate packaging methods.
Benefits of Final Inspection
Suitable for final quality control of your goods before shipment, allowing you to decide whether to accept the batch.
